Young workers are especially likely to quit a job as a way of getting ahead early on in their careers. Most (83%) consider themselves to be job-hoppers, according to a report from ResumeLab—and they're onto something.

Now that it’s policy to abandon DEI I suspect things will change. I had to train a new employee moving up from an entry level job to a senior position. They paid her 10K more than my position. I ‘wtfd’ the manager and he said “we need more women”. Ok, so like a quota system? Well, white males are already -10 pts in that system so there went my initiative. Since I’d built and installed many of the systems in use it was a mutual falling out I’d say.
