Rubbish.
The agencies all knew immediately that a lab leak was the source of the COVID pandemic.
NSA had phone and e-mail intercepts and even a low-level Chinese defector or two. They actually disclosed that information in public announcements. The only controversy was the unusual reveal of sources and methods. They knew.
The Chinese had scores of high-level US politicians on leashes to direct cover-up measures. Even worse the original virus was the outcome of "gain-of-function" research sponsored by the US government and major pharmaceutical companies. The research got too dangerous, so the Army and then the Canadian scientists refused to continue in the program. That is how it got transferred to China.
Merck and Pfizer had patents on key elements of the "vaccine" and the virus in 2016 and 2019 before the pandemic ever started.
They all knew.
When you had 4 years of suck up management and appointed scum telling you that “lab leak” was the wrong answer and your performance report was dependent on the “right answer”. The “analytical” consensus only now is brave enough to peak out from under their rock.

The main “scientists” denying the lab leak were those that we later found out funded the work in China. They lied to protect themselves. They also failed to oversee the laboratory ratings where the work was conducted. Doing such work in a lab little better than an open benchtop almost guarantees a lab leak. I do not believe the “leak” was on purpose since China had no reason to release a plague on their own country. I do believe that once the leak occurred they made sure it spread across the world so they would not be the only ones impacted.
No sh*t CIA. Gee you guys are brilliant...

The Chinese need to lose about 2/3 of a billion people, so it wouldn’t shock me to discover that the leak was intentional.
