Changing the system by make small controllable environments that are parent run will make workable programs. Not school, programs, Because school as we know it is going away very soon.
I understand very well what you are talking about.
You cannot salvage it.
Remember Children are only in the system for a total of up to 12 years. They and their parents go away. The blob is there forever.
Leave it.
Totally.
You simply do not have an idea that can be successfully implemented. If you think you do, how about sharing some sort of plan or operational guidelines. How are you going to get parents to participate more than they currently do? How will you get parents to agree to force their students to live up to standards? Who establishes those standards? Who plans and writes the curriculum?
Unless you can post something that convinces me that you can change outcome merely by changing location, I must insist you have a very simple understanding of the situation.
