I’m not sure if this applies to you but any veteran with a service connected disability, even if rated at 0%, can shop in the commissary. There is one commissary in Wisconsin that I know of, at Fort McCoy.

Thanks for thinking of me! Not disabled, thank goodness! And I’ve spent ‘many a happy day’ in the field at Fort McCoy!

You could probably airdrop me, blindfolded, anywhere on Fort McCoy and I would (eventually) find my way back to civilization. ;)

Memories of fishing with my Commander (I was his driver that season) at Big Sandy. Trout were biting just fine (after hours!)

The next morning we were in the Mess Hall, front and center and were enjoying our Rainbows. Fellow soldiers got pretty excited that the Mess was serving Trout for Breakfast, LOL!

Sorry, Suckers. You gotta catch your own. Also - It’s Good to Be The King - or his driver. ;)
