Retired means that I have lived a life for me in the past, and now lead a life of Devotion to and as a Servant of Christ Jesus.
My life was first a devotion to self and self actualization. I found earthly success, but it was empty. I died of that life and experienced Heaven, finding that once I had a taste of it, everything else was meaningless.
I am still here on earth not based upon my own will as I would be content and full of gratitude if I died today. Nothing compares to being fully present in the Love & Light of God. Coming back here is like entering hell.
Straddling the fence of the two realities for many years has been painful. I joke that the barbed wires scars from straddling the fence are torture.
Jesus is my Saviour, not for being crucified. He is my Saviour as he sacrificed being in Heaven to lower Himself and be born in the flesh to teach me how to follow in His path. This is why 1 John 4:1-... has the power it does in testing spirits. Having left this body already and tasting Heaven, I can attest to this.
Several here spew scriptures like the Pharisees spew prayers, for others to hear. But Jesus nor the Holy Spirit is in their heart.
They use scriptures like guns that have no bullets as they do not understand their words. Their heart is not filled with the fire that radiates the Love, reflecting a connection with God.
The human soul is like the moon in that it does not generate its own light, but reflects the Light of God that shines upon its soul.
They speak of Love as they know it intellectually, but their hearts are cold. It is good to look into your own eyes in the mirror and seek the Light of God in your soul. The eyes are the windows to the soul, but many have covered their windows with dark drapes, allowing no Light to shine through.
I say these things not to condemn or criticize, but in hopes that people seek and experience the Spirit of Christ within themselves.
