I do agree with the free market concept. But foreign countries don’t have civil rights in America. I Believe in reciprocity too. If it’s true that they are using the platform to collect data on Americans it should be banned. I would be surprised if they didn’t make a deal with an American based company. That would suggest that they were not in it for commercial purposes.

President Trump is likely to give them more time to sell out to a company not based in China.

The law didn’t ban tiktok, it banned foreign ownership of tiktok.
