Will Biden issue some last minute pardons? I think Cheney might get one and a few others. It was rumored a while ago.
Anyone heard anything or expecting anything?

I think Biden’s last atrocity will not be a pardon but his resignation, making idiot Harris the First Woman President for a few hours - just to throw a wrench and flip off America one last time.

Of course he will.
I’m just grateful he didn’t start a nuclear war.
Yet.

But not to pardon someone for crimes not charged. The powers are counting on the Nixon Pardon to have adjudicated the matter, but Nixon was President. Cheney and the rest were not. I believe they will be investigated and they will be charged. There are bigger problems with a Cheney/Fauci pardon.
1) States will still be able to prosecute them.
2) Federally, they will no longer be able to plead the 5th and if they lie, they will be in a perjury trap.

These so called preemptive pardons are not enforceable since no underlying conviction is there to be pardoned from. They are, however, an admission of guilt.

Great points! If they are smart, they won’t try to pressure for one. (I am sure they have tons of dirt on the ancient one).

No, but judicial interpretation, yes.
