I’m old too, but I learned about Tubi around 2 years ago. I have the free subscription which gives you mostly “B” movies and shows, but there are a few gems in there. You just have to put up with the incessant commercials during the movies.

But sometimes there’s a movie that I wouldn’t see in the theaters (because 95 percent are woke) that is being rented for like 15 bucks six months later but is free on TUBI!
Not often but sometimes...then I dont mind the commericals.
Or for old series like the Odd Couple that I can’t get anywhere else :)

then it’s not free: the cost is consumption of your limited lifetime ... i’d rather pay a few dollars more, avoid the ads, and do stuff with the saved time that i really enjoy doing ...
