Fatality rates with cancer is very high. No one really gets cured, just goes in remission with treatment. Reason people get cancer is because body has lost ability to recognize cancer cells as foreign. Cancer will always return, just a matter of time. Stage-4 discovery patients are lucky to live 2 years after diagnosis.

Oh I know. Went through that cluster eff with my mom in law. Cancer free when she died but zeeeero quality of life to get “cancer free”. Drained her funds considerably.
Since that episode, I have reevaluated how I would proceed if cancer visits me. There’s no way I’m gonna give all of my family money to the medical suckage and leave everyone else to struggle. Cancer is never cured
