It's a point of leftist propaganda to change the meaning of words. She wasn't anti-gay, she was pro-people.
Telling people not to engage in homosexual (ie. destructive) behavior is pro-people/ pro- life. Homosexuals are one of two first world immune compromised populations that are that way by behavior. The other is IV drug users.

Just to show the effect of propaganda is this statement, “Bryant used homophobic tropes about recruitment of children and child molestation”.
Homosexuals normally pursue minors for sex, meaning 50% or more of the total population does this. This is just a fact and has been in the literature for many decades.

I remember her well. Nothing bad to say abut her. When she tried to stop Florida from recognizing homosexuals the news media went after her like a junk yard dog. It forever soured my belief in the fairness of the news media.
