Yeah, the she/he is Fire Captain and the “mayor” is in Ghana for sme reason. When I see the “stars” homes on fire, and the acres of burned luxury cars I can’t help but think- “ hey that’s a shame,” and then keep eating my sandwich.
No one will pay the price for this casual and deliberate incompetence.
I take that back. Folks whose properties are devastated by fire will pay the price. But no one in authority will.

Well, Garcetti certainly appears to be moving forward with a lot of destruction, given that the water reservoirs are not filled and the fires are coming. But I guess having that warm D-I-E feeling deep down inside makes up for the destruction of peoples’ homes.
I was trolling over at DU in a DEI thread and brought up meritocracy, and was absolutely flamed (and then banned) for defending hard work, accomplishments, consistancy, work ethic. All of that of course simply promoting white males dominating and keeping disenfranchised peoples shut out.
I’m on my 8th-9th account over there. Stating the pobvious isn’t well accepted.

This is very true. But will liberal voters learn the lesson? Back in 2023 there was a terrible fire in Hawaii. Even the mainstream media reported on how lax and unprepared officials were.
Has anything changed in Hawaii? It looks like most of them are still mindlessly voting Democrat. 🙁

If LA Dems truly believed in DEI, the would hire a heterosexual white male. There aren’t many of them getting hired these days.
