I was trolling over at DU in a DEI thread and brought up meritocracy, and was absolutely flamed (and then banned) for defending hard work, accomplishments, consistancy, work ethic. All of that of course simply promoting white males dominating and keeping disenfranchised peoples shut out.

I certainly do have a lot of schadenfreud seeing liberal enclaves subject to their deserved government. I enjoy seeing the failures of DEI. Realistically.... There is nothing but the Pacific Ocean that will stop Santa Ana driven fires. I was CDF fire fighter as a young man late 80s early 90s. Our crews were in that same area when those winds kicked up and nothing could stop them. But I still hope this disaster further exposes the failures of democrats and their liberal BS policies. I am not optimistic though. When democrats fail in their communist goals, the idiot democrat voters vote for an even bigger failure. Mayor Bass proves it.
