With 55,000 inhabitants, they would welcome pay outs of $2 or more million each. Denmark is just trying to hang on to its colony. They have no way of stopping the Russians or the Chinese from taking it.
Right now, the Chinese are trying to buy the place with a $150 billion “investment”.
