Sports betting destroyed sports. It’s like WWE now.

There is no continuity any more. Pro bound players don’t play. Portal Players don’t play. You don’t have the same teams during the regular season. It’s not much different from a pickup league.
Exactly, might as well do away with playoffs since the teams that do make it are just a shadow of what they were during the regular season. Podunk U could probably win it all if they had no players leaving for the Pro's or going NIL. College sports are ridiculous nowadays.

I honestly don’t get who would bet on Bowl Games once the rosters have been eviscerated.

Re: "Not face to face..."
Watch the video.
The receiver is spinning, changing his direction to run up field.
In my opinion, the receiver actually initiates the helmet to helmet contact.

No doubt the highlight of my sports year has been flushed down the toilet. Don’t even follow my Sooners anymore.
To: Migraine
Right.
ASU makes one more of their FG attempts during regulation, and TX goes home humiliated and empty handed.

“I would guess it would have been Oregon, Georgia, Notre Dame and Texas under the previous system.”
And is exactly why the old system was a joke.Even the so called experts got the top seeds wrong this year. Expand to 16 teams...no first round byes....higher ranked team gets home field advantage for first round.....then use the bowls from that point...get rid of all these meaningless bowls and you might have more players who play instead of opting out.
To: ratzoe
Players are not opting out of playoff games..they are opting out of the pop tarts type bowls

Notre Dame alum here. The Longhorn have a storied history, so I’m glad to see they are contending.

You are hereby banned from watching football and giving your opinion.

Ohio State has two losses, to Oregon and Michigan. Both by a field goal or less, though.

"How do you not make this call?"The official in charge was a Texas Alumni and he'd rather take a hot poker up his ass {which he probably does for fun} than call against the Holy Horns.
Texas has never been on my radar, neither for, nor against, but from this point on, I wish them joe biden luck.
