Staten Island housing prices are pretty good and you can go to Manhattan every day...but it sounds from what I’ve seen that Manhattan TERRIFIES a lot of folks here.

New York is an absolutely beautiful state. The Adirondack mountains, the Finger Lakes region, the Erie canal, Niagra Falls (slowly I turned ...) are all great places worth seeing.
The problem is that NY is similar to an Irish Setter with shining, flowing hair ... and it is infested with fleas. They seem to congregate around the bung hole, aka New York City, but they are everywhere.
If Manhattan TERRIFIES a lot of folks there perhaps the fleas need to vote differently and do something about NYC’s sanctuary status and crime problems.
