I saw a nature show last week that featured a place that takes in injured wolves and doctors them up and tries to rehabilitate them if they can, most can’t, usually being hit by cars.
They acted like just a bunch of big dogs! REALLY BIG DOGS!............

Just how much of that exceptional weight is from the wolf gorging itself to feed pups in a den?
The pics seem to suggest such with the bloated mid section.
Gutting and weighing the stomach would reveal such.
This time of the year, the yotes will eat most of a 175# hog that I have left in my kill zone overnight to feed their pups.
