I miss the Donnie and Marie show. TV was so much better back then, now it's so trashy.

RIP Wayne Osmond

Thanks for the wholesome entertainment.

Osmands were huge in popularity.

You had the Osmonds and the Jacksons.

With one break-out brother and younger sisters who became quite successful also.

I see old song charts from the 70’s and I’m struck by how many hits the Osmonds or Donny Osmond had.

Time continues its relentless March.

Weird that Wayne died, but the story is about Donny and Marie.

The Utah native was the second-oldest of the original Osmond Brothers singers and the fourth oldest of the nine Osmond children.

This can’t be a real journalist. Either a corrupt journalist who used AI to turn something in fast and sloppy, or the paper changed policy to allow AI written articles.

Here is the Osmonds singing as children in 1963. They also sang the theme song for the show "The Travels Of Jaime McPheeters" starring a young Kurt Russell. Youtube video.

RIP

SQUEAKY

I liked the Cowsills ok though admittedly for top 40

The Rain The Park and other things was a fantastic constructed work honestly

I was a freak yet can admit that

Marie was cute though and Donnie. Heartthrob for young girls and their mags

The late 60s

I liked it 10-13

We’re labeling the Osmonds as ‘legends’ now? Good grief, in the grand history of Pop Culture, The Osmonds and The Jacksons were a flash in the pan.

A couple of the Jacksons would certainly make their mark later on.

A blast from the past, when country songs featured melodies:
