Good business practice is to lock them out of systems the moment they resigned. That's standard practice in high tech, obviously not so much in food service.
"...forensic analysis revealed that Linares, on his last day at Teleféric, downloaded nearly 17,000 documents from the company’s Google drive to his personal account. Included were recipes, customer-contact lists, food-vendor contacts, budgets, marketing strategies and pricing information for events and catering. Reviriego, shortly before leaving Teleféric, copied — then deleted from the company’s database — many marketing files, and downloaded its entire customer marketing list"Looks like Teleféric has a good case with that forensic analysis.
Paella is fairly difficult to cook because you have to stir it, so the rice often doesn’t turn out right.
Meh, so what? California Pizza Kitchen stole their BBQ chicken pizza from Wolfgang Puck’s Spago restaurant. Did he sue? I dunno maybe he did. CPK used to actually serve good food. I enjoyed their pasta Marsala. Then they sold to the Taco Bell people and took it off the menu. Got frozen stuff delivered instead of fresh. Good food went to shite. Spago may still be good, but expensive, though I haven’t been there in a decade or more. Was there once at a charity with Red Skelton and Sidney Poitier. CPK is one of those places that was very good, and got ruined by greediness.
I stole a salad dressing recipe from a restaurant. Not literally, just ate it a lot until I figured out all the ingredients.
My neighbor stole his margarita recipe from the Wynn hotel in Vegas. Says it costs $25 if you order it in Vegas. Made with 3 fresh fruits. And tequila. Not sure if he adds cognac or Cointreau or triple sec.
Someone had to say it.🤷♂️
Was an NDA signed prior to both employees joining the company?
