The Pharisees, at least the leadership, were not actually believers. They were blind guides.

LB is likely imperfect (duh) but in general is about where I am on the 70th week (though the Two Witnesses were not shown in proper context).

I only read the first 3 books and that was enough for me.

BUT “the world at war” seems rather descriptive of today (Middle East being the big one there)

My views on the 70th week were established long before the book and movies came out (FWIW).

Expect the “peace deal” to come - and for it to specifically be for 7 years - 2,520 days, actually. (7 x 360 Jewish years). Daniel 9:26-27 if I’m not too sleepy (and I am lol)

When you hear that “peace has come to the Middle East!” be worried - VERY worried - because it’s about to get real interesting

God bless

“ The Pharisees, at least the leadership, were not actually believers”

Like Paul?

Yours is a very Roman interpretation. There were a ton of devout Pharisees; including plenty who became leaders of the early church.

They’re just not the antagonists in the stories, so they don’t get top billing.

Very unfair to lump them all together.
