It didn’t have too because everyone was observing the weekly 7th day Sabbath. It wasn’t an issue. What was an issue was holding people to the ceremonial laws including the other Sabbaths.
Goodness gracious......the weekly 7th day Sabbath was “made” before the fall. It was in a perfect world. Jesus “made” it holy. You can’t unmake something he made holy. They all knew that back then which is why the 7th day Sabbath was never an issue.
Even the gentiles told Paul........hey, let’s do this again next Sabbath!
Acts 13:42 says, “And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath”.
