I was surprised to see a Learjet, lotta gas to burn for a flight to MO. Heard this am that it was full od Mexican nationals which doesn’t make much sense.
Mother and child among seven killed in Philadelphia medical jet crash
"A small medical transport plane crashed into several buildings in the US city of Philadelphia on Friday evening, killing all six people on board and at least one other person on the ground, the mayor has confirmed.
The jet was on a medical transport trip, heading to Tijuana, Mexico, with a short stop-over in Missouri. It was carrying a child patient and her mother, along with two pilots, a doctor and paramedic. They were all Mexican nationals.

The girl being transported to Mexico had just finished medical treatment for a life-threatening illness at Shriners Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.
Earlier on Friday, staff had thrown her a party to celebrate, hospital spokesman Mel Bower said. He added that staff who treated her had been "impacted very deeply" by news of the tragedy."

When the plane came out of the clouds it was on fire and in a steep dive , almost like it was doing a loop, and began a roll at the end.
Since a medical flight and they had oxygen tanks in the cabin. I wonder if there was something like a leak and a static spark, or a lithium battery in a cell phone or medical monitoring equipment that exploded and set off a larger explosion that disabled the pilot and or the controls. I am not sure if the weather was a factor other than the jet was climbing through a cloud deck.
Other things. I suppose that another possiblity would be debris on the runway. It picked up a rock or bolt that was plinking around in the engine and it exploded. Did some idiot shoot at the plane when it was taking off? Did the refuling crew forget to tighten the cap? Will have to wait to see.
