Would anyone one know if Ivermectin would be helpful for a 14 year old dog who is showing signs of Cushing disease.
He weighs about 17 pounds. Sweetest rescue ever.

Looking at a description of Cushing's disease, if pup has a tumor in the pituitary or adrenal gland, maybe there's a chance that Ivermectin could shrink it.

Please be very careful, some herding breeds have the MDR1 gene which can make ivermectin very toxic to them. Other than that, it’s a wonderful treatment.
Back to lurking.
My cat just got over a “cold” (sneezing, watery eyes) and I used it for 4 days. I would definitely try it on any of my pets for any health issue. I googled for the dosage according to weight.
What breed is he?
Border collies and related breeds will be adversely affected by Ivermectin.
