the answer IMO is that the tech industry is critical to success of the country and their coordination with the censorship regime has been terminated. Politics aside it’s better to have everyone in the country come together and to henceforth operate in the interests of our country. These people and companies have been given a choice IMO and it appears they are choosing wisely. The rest shall (hopefully/presumably) face justice ... and PAIN.

I share your annoyance, out, but I think Steven’s answer is correct.

In addition, Steven, the tech companies are probably now sending a huge message to the rest of the leftist power hub that they are jumping off the sinking ship and joining the winning team. (Hope I didn’t mix too many metaphors there.)
