President Trump has been unduly mocked by Democrats and corporate media journalists regarding his desire to purchase Greenland from Denmark. But he now has the Danes and Greenland's full attention.
My comments below:
Greenland is indeed key to the ever changing world.The melting of the massive ice pack alone is key to climate and is influencing our weather now.No way we can let something like that fall into the hands of Russia or China.
Also Greenlands melting ice may provide a second Suez Canal saving shipping untold grief and aggravation trying to pass through the Suez with hooti pirates always in the mix. In addition there are rare earth minerals all kinds of crude oil and twice as much natural gas about as clean a fuel as you can get.
So is the US interested in whatever we can negotiate with Greenland and Denmark,you betcha!
Meanwhile, Axios revealed Saturday that Denmark sent Team Trump a private message regarding the possible future of the island. While they still do not want to sell Greenland to America, they are open to discussing bolstering security on the world's largest island or increasing the U.S. military.
