Good point. What is the best alternative, though, with the confirmation process being held over the heads of Trump's nominees? Will he invoke the federal Vacancies Act (I may be off on the precise wording)? Recess appointments, which Mitch the Bitch McConnell has vowed would not happen? There's got to be a way Trump can prevent the situation from deteriorating into "same old, same old" (which could ultimately result in open revolt).

Trump relies on acting Cabinet officials more than most presidents. It’s not an accident.
But we don’t need to infer that Trump appreciates acting department heads. He’s said as much.
“I like acting because I can move so quickly,” Trump said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” in February. “It gives me more flexibility.”
That’s obviously true. Trump can slot someone in without having to have the person confirmed by the Senate, a move he used at the Justice Department last year after he fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Don’t test me on this, but reportedly POTUS 47 can shove in his serious picks through the Budget Reconciliation Act, because #1) it makes no sense to me and #2) I’ve no idea where I read that statement weeks ago, or to bring you a source, But #3) you know how there are things heard, only one time, immediately disappeared, reported nowhere else, dropped into file no.13 and then... Boom.. it rises like a phoenix and becomes foundational? Just sayin’.

Here’s a semi-example, although publicized online, and very well known here, it now is coughed up by GPundit:
” NEW VIDEO Shows J6 Trump Supporter Rosanne Boyland Shot in the Face by Police Projectile, Then Pushed Down and Smothered, Before Metro Police Officer Beat Her with a Stick as She Died on US Capitol Steps
by Jim Hoft Jan. 13, 2025
Ms. Boyland was never even missed, certainly never mourned.
Why now? It’s disgusting. And the other woman, in the tunnel, whose face was bloodied on video by “cop” uniformed demonics.
