Rolli Days have tours of normally closed to the public palazzi in Genoa, Italy obtained by reservation with tour companies.
A tour visits about three palaces per day with lunch and dinner breaks.
Some videos of the palaces are available via: https://landing.visitgenoa.it/rollidays-online/
The videos run about 9 minutes each. I watched videos of Palazzo Interiano Pallavicino, Palazzo Angelo Giovanni Spinola and Palazzo Pantaleo Spinola (Gambaro).
Click on Carici Altri for other videos.
I also watched a video of Palazzo Tobia Pallavicino - Sede della Camera di Commercio di Genova.
Over 90% of Italian municipalities at risk of floods, landslides - civil protection

ROME, Nov 28 (Reuters) - More than 90% of Italian municipalities are prone to landslides or other natural disasters, the head of the national civil protection agency said in a Monday interview.
“94% of municipalities are at risk of flooding, landslides, coastal erosion,” Fabrizio Curcio told La Stampa newspaper, adding that “all of Italy is at risk.”
Genova is an underrated city in my opinion. And its history (Christopher Columbus, the Republic of Genoa’s heroic role in keeping the Muslim Turks in check etc) is under-appreciated particularly among Americans.
Any palazzo or castello in Italy would be beautiful.
There is one outside of Milan named for my husband’s family.
I won’t be able to travel anymore to see it, but I hope he does.

My husband just retired. I supposedly have family in the Genoa area. We are going in the fall to see if we want to spend a significant amount of time each year there.
Thanks for the link! BUMP for later!
And Happy New Year!
When I was travelling in Europe many years ago now one thing I noticed was if you came across a run down house or building for some reason if it was in Italy it just looked so much better than if it was elsewhere. Not sure why but perhaps because it was sunnier and lighter than the rest of Europe.
