The ongoing spread of bird flu in the United States has alarmed experts

OF course it is, right on schedule.

– not just because of human cases causing severe illness, but also due to troubling new instances of infections in cats.

ONE cat, as far as I know.

And FWIW, I'm HIGLY skeptical about all these claims. It's just far too convenient with Trump set to take office again.

A SINGLE case of severe bird flu in a human in Louisiana...with underlying conditions...AND exposed to dead & dying birds in backyard flocks.

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/cdc-confirms-1st-case-severe-bird-flu-us/story?id=116908574

The hype is criminal.

Cat in SF, cat you are probably talking about from raw cat food, nearly 50% of big cats (tigers, lions, panthers) at a big cat wildlife sanctuary.

current poultry and wild bird map: https://www.cdc.gov/bird-flu/situation-summary/data-map-commercial.html

H5N1, the avian influenza A virus, has been detected in water in several places, including:
Los Angeles County

In November 2024, the H5N1 virus was detected in wastewater from the A.K. Warren Water Resource Facility in Carson. The virus may have come from contaminated animal products or infected wild bird droppings.
Texas

In 2024, researchers at UTHealth Houston and Baylor College of Medicine detected the H5N1 virus in wastewater from 10 cities.

In 2024, the H5 subtype of the influenza A virus was detected in wastewater from nine states.

They have found H5 persists in lake/pond sediments longer than it did on duck feces.

So we’re finding it in birds, cows, cats, a few people. They culled poultry farms, I don’t recall if they culled the cows.

While I am concerned about it here in America where we can treat the water and thoroughly cook our food. How prevalent does something like this need to be begin to affect our food supply in a deeply meaningful way?

Right now everyone is looking to our own Government and more of the Gain of Function crap, but don’t neglect the fact we discovered clandestine a Chinese Biolab right here in the United States. How many of those went undetected?
