Russia Not Satisfied with Trump Team’s Proposals on Ukraine: Lavrov
WE News ^ | 12/29/2014 | Staff

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov says that currently only Biden is authorised to engage with Russia on behalf of the United States.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said that Moscow is not satisfied with the proposals of US president-elect Donald Trump’s team to postpone Ukraine’s membership in NATO for 20 years and to deploy a contingent of EU and UK peacekeepers in Ukraine.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has already rejected the “peace proposals” of Trump’s team, according to TASS news agency. Although there have been no official initiatives from the United States yet.

In an interview with TASS, Lavrov said, “Judging by numerous leaks and Donald Trump’s own interview with Time magazine on December 12, he is talking about ‘freezing’ hostilities along the line of engagement and transferring further responsibility for confronting Russia to the Europeans. We are certainly not satisfied with the proposals made by representatives of the president-elect’s team to postpone Ukraine’s membership in NATO for 20 years and to deploy a peacekeeping contingent of ‘UK and European forces’ in Ukraine.”

Lavrov admitted that Moscow has not received any official signals from the United States on the Ukrainian settlement at the moment.

“Until January 20 – the date of inauguration – Donald Trump has the status of ‘president-elect,’ and all policy on all fronts is determined by the incumbent president and his administration,” Lavrov said.

The Trump peace plan is ready. General Kellogg will be reviewing it with Ukraine and key European leaders in a week.

Significant question seldom addressed:

When there is peace, regardless of what new government is in place in Ukraine, who is going to fund them?

If they are cut off and Zelensky forced to disappear given his term of office expired, what funds the next government? The coal is the only sellable mineral and it is in the new Russian oblasts.

Agriculture? I had thought China bought all that land.

So what funds operations? Another fundamental truth — the refugees are not returning when there will be no money there.

The Ukraine and NATO lost in their gambit to defeat Russia and rape it.
———————-
In other words, the secret ( now not so secret) Project Ukraine ( war with Russia since 2014) is DEAD. President Trump needs to drive a stake through it, wash our hands of all welfare payments to that awful nation of corruption( $$$ 300 billion), and concentrate on rebuilding America.

Sorry NeoCons and senile Joe war cheerleaders, your gig is up. Your forever wars have been postponed, hopefully forever.

“ WE are the ones begging for a cease fire. That’s a weak position.”

Exactly.

General Zaluzhnyi will be the next president of Ukraine after Zelensky.

Not if Ukraine is to be Denazified. Zalunshny is a Neo Nazi supporter, Bandera statues and NeoNazi symbols have in the past been seen in his office.

His Nazi Azov boys have been “ reduced”, but still have a lot of influence.

--- "The Trump peace plan is ready."

It's good that you know that. I'll wait and see, by reason of not being a fan of those who foretell the future.

The problem is that the Kellogg side and the entire effort is that WE are the ones begging for a cease fire.
————
Kellogg is a washed out 80 year old NeoCon General, with very little diplomatic skills….he pales to Lavrov’s legendary diplomatic and negotiating skills.

I suspect Trump will have to $hit can him like his extremely poor DOS pick Rex Tillerson, who didn’t last to long in his last administration.

Fact is, the US has no qualified diplomats ( Peacekeepers) left. Years of forever wars bred war mongers, not Peacekeepers.

A few links to consider.

"Still, some foreign companies are sending a clear signal to international businesses that it is worth investing in the Ukrainian economy without waiting for the active phase of the war to end. For example, Nestlé has announced that it will concentrate its European production of instant noodles in Ukraine.

"In general, BlackRock Continental Europe indicates that Ukraine expects its post-war financing needs to reach US$350-750 billion by 2032, much of it to be used for restoration, reconstruction, and modernization. According to the Ministry of Finance, BlackRock intends to create a special fund in Ukraine to attract foreign investment."

"Dmitry Skornyakov, CEO of HarvEast, one of Ukraine’s largest agricultural companies, said: 'We had a big contract with Syngenta ... and Syngenta just stopped supplying Ukraine. We had a pre-paid contract, we paid them and they just did not supply.' 'According to my information, they still supply Russians, why [do] they do this? It’s very strange,' he said. A spokesperson for Syngenta said it continues to supply Ukraine, and does so at high risk and without expecting to make a profit. "Ukraine might not look like a good financial investment after a year at war with no end in sight, but Harvard, Saudi Arabia, a handful of oligarchs, and the United States investment manager The Vanguard Group see it differently. And marcus - can you watch on your way to work in the morning, and let me know if the Ukrainian soldiers you see are brushing their teeth? I met a guy at church whose brother (or BIL?) is a Democrat staffer, and they're hoping to include $400 million for tooth brushes in the next "emergency Ukraine aid" package.

If (1) 600,000 dead Russkies, (2) the loss of their black sea fleet, (3) the loss of their port in Syria and their influence in Africa and Israel, (4) and the decimation of billions of dollars worth of tanks, planes, missies, etc., is “winning,” then holy shit, I’d hate to see how things look when they lose!

The question remains whether he can defeat The Donald at his own game?
Stay tuned, kiddies!

There has not been 600k casualties for the Russians. These numbers remind me of the ‘dead Gook’ numbers of the Vietnam War.

Trump quoted that number. I actually think 700,000 is more accurate.

Hell that photo could easily be somewhere in North Central Texas with a deer blind just out of sight. They are rather chubby for Norks.
