Based on the information you provided, do you think there is any credibility to the James File confession?
I think James Files' confession is more believable than non-believable, for the following reasons:
1. The video of the interview is compelling and I get the impression Files is telling the truth. He knew all the on-ground JFK assassination details that a lower rank assistant would know. If he's lying, he's a very skilled liar.
2. The FBI and New York Times went after Files hard following the interview. They really, really made it a point that he was not a credible witness, without providing any reasons or details why Files was untrustworthy, which leads me to believe that Files was onto something and he is a credible witness.
3. Files, still alive today, has refused to talk any more about the assassination since his release from prison. His lawyers probably told him to shut up and not to incriminate himself anymore.
