You’re right. I think I saw on one feature that due to evolution the eagle concentrates nearly all its brain area for focusing on triangulating the positions of fish they see as they approach and dive.

They’ll pick a dead fish off the surface. They’re just as happy with a stale fish than one they’d stolen from an Osprey.
That said, Mexico’s national bird is also an eagle—just different. Maybe it’s the Caracara?
