“it’s a story of hope.”

Yeah, it sure sounds like it.

“oral sex...story of hope”

Makes perfect sense.

I saw the movie, overall a 2 1/2 stars out of 4. It was good, but very predictable as to what was going to happen.

A lot of fluff, i.e. scenes to fill up the movie when they could have given us more of the back story in the book.

I had questions as I hadn’t read the book.

I agree with Blake on this. The domestic violence was not the key issue, in my mind.

Basically, you have a woman who is attracted to men, like her Dad, who have an addictive personality.

Many women choose to stay with the guy, thinking he will change.

I’m not telling you what she decided to do.

The other issue that is not mentioned at all is related to the Pro-Choice/Pro-Life debate.

It’s not the kind of movie that I’d want to see again, as I wasn’t warm and fuzzy at the end.
