Peking becomes Beijing.

They didn’t actually change the name only how it is ‘officially’ spelled using Pinyin. Same thing happened with Mao Tse Tung —> Mao Zedong. And as for Mumbai, wait until ‘India’ becomes ‘Bharat’.

When Germany becomes Deutschland and Finland becomes Suomi, I will take these clowns somewhat seriously.
