Definitely. Interesting videos on this on YouTube, Dr. Craig Childress Parental Alienation.
Usually the father gives up (drops the rope in the tug of war) after the mother continuously blocks access, returns all the mail sent to the children, poisons the children and all the school administrators/educators against him.
Then the mother crows about how dad is a “deadbeat dad” and how he “walked away leaving her high and dry.” ™
Saw it for my own eyes.
And my state even had a new law in place before my ex filed divorce: the Parent-Child Relationship Protection Act. It says that the custodial parent (usually mother) can't move the kids more than so many miles away from the father unless the father allows, or the father does drugs or is abusive.
The judges were completely ignoring the law. Case "law" mattered to them more than actual law from the state legislature. I ran out of money paying $1,175/month child support (a lot of money a couple of decades ago) while also paying my legal bills. Thus I had to learn how to represent myself in court (pro se). And by the hand of God, I won custody. Married another lady. Started a blended family, and one of my two kids and I re-bonded. The other one never could get out of his daddy-bashing training. I'm still praying for that too. The Lord healed me from a so-called incurable disease, and gave me a win in a seemingly unwinnable court battle. Experiences like that taught me to quit doubting Him.
