Dinner was amazing! No bacon though. Not needed. Mixed salad greens with lemon zest/balsamic vinaigrette. Indiana maple syrup. Aunt Bee’s boneless fried chicken (a local favorite). Eric Clapton “Unplugged” on vinyl played while we ate.

Never have understood Waffles and Chicken...but I’ll take your word for it. ;)

Mom used to make Waffles with BACON eight in them - so good - so I guess sweet and savory can go together in other ways, too.
