Don't use school issued computers for your private needs...That seems to be the lesson here.
I refuse to believe they will try to stop school shooters before they start shooting.
He is probably all about abortion though.
You know, that Tommy is so cute. He’s to die for.
Now you did it.
EC
What about that pesky thing called the Fourth Amendment? No warrant, no entry. And more than just that. No warrant, get off the property.
Spoken like a true scumbag liberal. Like the scam, "Better for 100 guilty to go free than for one innocent man to suffer." So, the liberal frees 100 psychos who will in turn inflict suffering upon 10 times as many innocents.
Every executive of every VPN service just cracked a bottle of champagne and hoisted it to these idiots.
(Like kids don’t know to use aliases and and mask their online identities except to their friends already)
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
One police chief told NYT, “There are a lot of false alerts, but if we can save one kid, it’s worth a lot of false alerts.”
Nonsense. It's not going to save any lives and will destroy more than it saves.
Conservatives and Christians will be targeted because of wrongthink.
*For the children* is the byword to implement tyranny.
Kids get traumatized.
Parents get embarrassed.
Families get ostracized.
All as a result of false accusations by something the school funded.
They don’t even know if it works at all.
From the article:
“Given the total lack of information on outcomes, it’s not really possible for me to evaluate the system’s usage,” Baltimore city councilman Ryan Dorsey, who has criticized these systems in the past, told the newspaper. “I think it’s terribly misguided to send police — especially knowing what I know and believe of school police in general — to children’s homes.”
“I’m doing it for the children!”
Remember voice-comp from the Bladeruuner movie.
An Ohio company was awarded $200,000 to help develop the journaling apps and application programming interface necessary for integrating the AI sentient algorithm that will use visual and auditory signals to diagnose certain behavioral health conditions. This evidence-based intervention will be primarily for individuals that have anxiety and depression but do not have the means to get traditional psychological services. University Hospitals is the licensing institute.
“There are a lot of false alerts, but if we can save one kid, it’s worth a lot of false alerts.”
“There are a lot of false SWAT-ings. But if it results in one captured bad dude, it is worth a lot of false SWAT-ings.”
Were the parents properly informed that they were bringing in monitoring devices that would be watching everything their kid was doing?
So some local police have a spy unit that monitors the free speech social media accounts of school students. Is that what they are saying?
If so it’s another form of the police state that makes everyone guilty until proven innocent.
This is straight up unwarranted search and monitoring what is happening to government property. Kids are included in that government property. Kids are only in school when they are in school. Anything other is none of their business until it actually presents it’s self when kids are physically IN SCHOOL.
Department of Pre-Crime... Orwell or Minority Report...
Hard to tell these days.
I thought the school cop was creepy when I was in high school (2000), and I still do. Never could write a single creative word when there was a teacher looking over my shoulder. Couldn’t come up with anything remotely impersonal that I would feel comfortable putting to paper. Creativity requires privacy.
That petty tyrant is unfit to be a police chief ... "want fries with that?" is too much a position of trust for him.
The schools created the problem in the first place. Then they use the problem as justification for treating children even more like prisoners.
