Schools Using AI to Send Police to Students’ Homes
Activist Post ^ | 12/16/2024 | Victor Tangermann

It’s bad enough that students are monitored for every computer keystroke or Internet pages that they view, but the height of stupidity is to turn AI loose to access their mental health and then send the police after them. One police chief told NYT, “There are a lot of false alerts, but if we can save one kid, it’s worth a lot of false alerts.” This Technocrat mindset with students is guaranteed to find its way into the adult population. Big Brother is watching you.

Hard to tell these days.

I am against this monitoring. However, the program is placed on school issued computers. They would argue they have a right to do this on their equipment.

Parents and students would be advised to not use school issued computers except for school...just like one would [or should] not use company devices for porn surfing.

I thought the school cop was creepy when I was in high school (2000), and I still do. Never could write a single creative word when there was a teacher looking over my shoulder. Couldn’t come up with anything remotely impersonal that I would feel comfortable putting to paper. Creativity requires privacy.

That petty tyrant is unfit to be a police chief ... "want fries with that?" is too much a position of trust for him.

And more than just that. No warrant, get off the property.

Hello, 911? There's a gang of armed men attempting to force entry to my home ... they've been instructed that they're trespassing, and they defiantly refuse to leave ...

However, the program is placed on school issued computers.

So?

They would argue they have a right to do this on their equipment.

And Diaper Diddlers argue that the child "wants" it. Again, so?

Parents and students would be advised to not use school issued computers except for school...just like one would [or should] not use company devices for porn surfing.

Oh I see, you are under the delusion that this is about things actually posted using the computer in question.

It isn't.

It is about everything that is said within the hearing of the little perv plaything or within visual of the camera that the perv monitor can just turn on any time they wish.

The schools created the problem in the first place. Then they use the problem as justification for treating children even more like prisoners.
