Trump is not and has never been an ideologue. As for Conservative, what kind are you talking about, fiscal, religious or foreign policy? The venn diagram rarely intersects all three.
Trump is what I call a pragmatic populist.

Trump's strategy was to redirect from the abortion issue and it worked. Everyone who wasn't a total low-info knew the Supreme Court decision left abortion up to the states. I was stunned, therefore, to see constant Dem-PAC commercials during the campaign which were absolute blatant lies, inferring that Donald Trump himself would somehow outlaw abortion.
The complete dishonesty was truly breathtaking.

The Biden Administration's record was a disaster. No one liked Harris and Walz because they were terrible candidate. So they went all out on abortion.
