I could be wrong, but I don’t think we cavalierly shoot soldiers because they disobey an order. There are definitely consequences — but getting instantly shot by a sergeant seems an unlikely one. On the other hand, I can see huge levels of fragging of officers if they seem “toxic” to someone.

Of course, but it was put that the conscript refused to charge a hill during a combat situation. I think that would be different.
