What about “nursing assistants”? People be employed by long term care facilities to take care of the patients.

Nursing assistants don’t get paid squat next to nurses. Often, they are paid minimum wage and a shift differential.

They do noble work. But as a career, it can be brutal. It’s physically demanding and you deal with a lot of people who don’t appreciate the effort.

Poor pay and it's mostly changing old people diapers.
