My orange cat was the most intelligent cat I’ve ever owned. He was indoor/outdoor and would go from room to room knocking on the window to come in. I miss him.

🥰
Our Miss Kitteh was independent, her own cat. She hunted lizards and birds and other critters. I knew she did like me because she would leave the remains of her hunting expeditions by my desk.

My understanding of cats leaving gifts is that they think you’re a poor hunter and are trying to show you how.

Unlike most cats, Pooter didn’t usually kill his prey. He would bring home live field mice and play with the poor little things until we rescued them. The cat we have now leaves us gifts all the time at the back door. You made me appreciate that he leaves them outside.

Worst case is finding the decimated remains when cleaning the office months later…behind a bookcase….

I have two twin orange cats with the same markings. They are smart and the best.

They will be relieved to know why they are orange.

Their Science issue isn't delivered until later in the week. I'll just let them find out on their own.

I brought home the cutest little calico. By big cat wasn't really happy at first.....probably because I put the little one in her bed (my old doll bed).

My big cat would lay on the floor in the sun and the little one would go round and round the rooms an whack the big cats tail...until the day my big cat whacked the little one. lol...hysterical..

We have an orange tabby female, she’s almost 10 years old. When she was a kitten she would zoom thru the house like a crazy cat! She’s VERY smart. She slowed down quite a bit, every night when I put my feet up in the recliner, she jumps up, curls up between my legs and goes to sleep.

When we first got her from Paws, her name was Gingersnap. My daughter changed it to Coco.she’s the sweetest thing.

I had a feisty orange male cat...with white “booties” on rear legs. When he was young he I would stand in front of him and he would jump about 3 feet up into my waiting arms. Very affectionate, tough, and a sweetheart. I miss him greatly. I think he ran away cause I had to keep him indoors when he developed an infected front paw and couldn’t walk well. When he got better, he left and never came back. He had left for a few times and stayed away for a few weeks before. I miss that guy.

“Well thank goodness they finally figured it out!”

I wonder if tax dollars were involved in this groundbreaking discovery? And then I have to ask which bill coming out of Congress was this pork attached to?

Orange cats happen to have a hilarious reputation for not being the brightest of their species.

We like the yaller ones and consider them to be as intelligent - or as idiotic - as any other color of cat. I will say this, though... the orange ones seem to have had more distinctive and developed personalities than the rest.

The two friendliest, most sociable and genuinely endearing cats I have ever interacted with were both neutered orange males. YMMV.

I think black and white cow cats are the smartest...just my opinion. I have a gray and white cow cat and a black smoke cat presently. They are from same litter. Black cats are the least likely to get adopted at shelters. Mine is the sweetest, loving cat. I wish more folks would adopt the black ones...sigh
