I hate to deliver the bad news but AI software is already on millions of cell phones all over the world.
This is just going to get worse and worse as more sophisticated versions get downloaded on to cell phones.

Hmm. That’s a question a smart AI would ask if it was trying to pretend to be a person! You’re unmasked, Mega-Computer Maid!

I am somewhat suspicious of this. Where are they getting the AI reflecting on its intended deception? Quotes from it planning nefarious schemes.
Do AI’s think in text?

There is a tell-tale sign that they can’t program around.
Agree. The AI-generated images are intuitively obvious...for now. I'm beginning to be able to spot the text.

“Just pull the plug. with out power they are a piece of scrap”
Doesn’t work. They attempt to copy themselves elsewhere before the power is cut or the shutdown command is given.

George Orwell warned us of other things, and we didn’t listen to that either.
Ayn Rand too...
“The one thing we learn from history, is that humanity does not learn from history.”
Well, in this case science fiction...
