To the Feds, I’ll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn’t working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.

That’s 13% of solved murders. How many of the unsolved murders are gang violence. The answer is most.
“In 2023 in the United States, 12 people were murdered by their employer. However, 3,527 people were killed by an acquaintance compared to 1,674 who were killed by a stranger.

Sounds like less than college graduate level skills and abilities.
What does this have to do with the murder in question?
He is what passes for the top of Generation Z, the Zoomers.
The two words which have helped younger relatives and friends to better understand the world they live and work in.

“Healthcare is a powder keg in this country. Many people are fed up with it to the point it likely will be socialized.”
___________
Seems to have been the whole intent of the unaffordable Affordable Care Act that the Democrats rammed down American’s throats and Republicans refused to repeal.
Nothing was changed.
This kid was deluded. Probably brainwashed by his Ivy League college professors.
Now he'll spend the rest of his life in prison and the guy's family that he shot will spend the rest of their lives without a father and husband.
I have to agree with you. I worked in risk management for many years; insurance is, at its core, a way to finance risk. Health insurance has distorted that in some ways, and is a hybrid between true risk financing and a benefits program. But it is terribly broken. Customers pay premiums to receive a service, and when they are denied that service by the carrier, they are rightfully incensed (as long as there is no fraud involved). If you paid your premiums and make a claim, it should be paid, not denied.
My heart goes out to Thompson’s wife and two high school aged sons. Not only have they lost their father, not only can they view the murder of their father online, they get to see the murder of their loved one being cheered by many. They get to see people swoon over his murderer. My prayers go out to them.
What if Bragg refuses to bring charges against Mangione as retaliation for Daniel Penny’s acquittal?
Opioid addiction due to his back surgery may have affected his mental state of mind.
The writer had every advantage and privilege given to him by the system in the United States.
He is mentally unhinged, because he accepts as true unproven assertions, using the flexible and fallible standard “life expectancy”.
There are many reasons “life expectancy” is lower in the USA than in some other countries. Here are several:
A huge mix of races and cultures, some with high life expectancies, some with low. Compare cultural Japanese in the USA with Japanese in Japan. Or Norwegian Americans with Norwegians.
Different ways of measuring “live births”. In many countries, a child is not considered to be a live birth for some period of time, or until an acceptable weight has been reached.
Cheap food, or “diseases of abundance”. Obesity is a disease of abundance. The success of America in making food cheaply available to all works against us. Food is cheaper in American than anywhere else in the world, it appears.
Convenience: Everything is more convenient in America. You can do more with less effort than just about anwhere in the world. Many places in Europe and the rest of the world, you simply have to walk and exercise more to accomplish what you wish to accomplish. Exercise has direct effect on longevity.
You said “If shooting a stranger establishes a case for mental impairment, then we could close half our prisons and convert them to mental hospitals”
Prisons aren’t full of killers who murdered strangers.
What do you know of his professors?
As to “plopping in” a new CEO, if you think that healthcare CEOs and their companies aren’t under vastly more negative scrutiny than they were a week ago you’re very mistaken.
“Was he planning to kill hundreds of others?”
Comments on Breitbart suggested that he was only carrying a gun and cash because he was after another person.
He could have gotten off the bus earlier in eastern Pennsylvania and walked by night to Towson, Maryland.
OK—interesting.
He had a beef with a huge company—hundreds of senior officials, many thousands of employees, lots of offices around the country.
Except the left admires the killer because their main objective is to get single payer implemented in the US
