“We have some big picture stuff coming down the pike starting on January 21st,” before rattling off a list of scary viruses, which included bird flu, SARS, dengue, yellow fever, whooping cough, measles, polio, Zika, and something called the Oropouche virus.

I guess that's the date they plan to unleash the new viruses.

By doing so all at once, I suspect they think they can overwhelm the healthcare system. They’re trying to get as much mileage out of it as they can. If a person is immune to one virus, hopefully another can take them down instead.
