Jay-Z was accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean 'Diddy' Combs at a party after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards in a civil lawsuit filed Sunday.
The accuser, who identifies herself as Jane Doe in the legal documents reviewed by Dailymail.com, says the assault took place at a party after the award show.
The lawsuit had initially been filed in New York's Southern District this past October against Combs, with a refiling on Sunday naming the rapper, 55, whose real name is Shawn Carter.
The woman accusing the rapper claims that the assault took place at an afterparty following the event, which took place September 7, 2000 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.
Dailymail.com has reached out to Tony Buzbee, the lawyer representing Jay-Z's accuser, for comment.
Jay-Z issued a lengthy statement to DailyMail.com on Sunday denying the claims made in the re-filed lawsuit. DailyMail.com has also reached out to a Beyoncé representative on the story.
'My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a “lawyer” named Tony Buzbee,' he said. 'What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle.
'No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!'

Likely he will play the black privilege card.
Well, at least it's less than 40 years ago this time.
Agreed. Why should I even consider this to be true at this point?
So sad Dad couldn’t have solved this Justice problem shortly afterward.
Yeah, I went down the dark hole in this a few weeks ago. The things they did to and made these children do I could never have dreamed up. Horrible Horrible. Diddy did his own children. If people don’t think Satan and Hell are real, just ask these children - the ones that survived.
Reading what SC allegedly did to Bieber made me turn off the internet for a week.
It’s one red cent.
Usher too. Listening to Ally Carter on YouTube made me turn off the Diddy news for weeks. I’m still cautious. Death is too good for these people.
