She has parents. Where were they? Its very convenient to blame shift onto others when you aren’t parenting well. Or at all.
And ok, involved parents would have gotten her looked at by shrinks all on their own to assess the kid. If they were on top of things they’d have done this all on their own once the kid wanted a sex change.
Good parents do what it takes to get mentally ill kids help to not be mentally ill, not to help them chop their natural born bodies up. People can be given real help to be able to live in their own normal bodies. Maybe not jumping for joy, but to accept and tolerste and get used to it, some better results than this.
And the family would have sued these docs if they refused to do this crap to their messed up kid as well.
I’m not going to jump to conclusions on her parents as this happened in california and it’s possible her parents were “told” by the gubermint to do the operation “or else.
A lot of parents in california complained and got their kids taken away by CPS by the schools if they disagreed. I’ve posted about it. So this one is a very hard call.
Maybe this is why her parents are not spoken about in the story? Maybe they were like “see I told you so” to the kid and now want nothing to do with this?
