Does anyone having any suggestions for a password generator that is either online, or other?
I see a few online free sites, but don't know if they are bogus or questionable.
I get tired of attempting to create strong passwords, especially when using a website that requires at least 15 various numbers, characters, etc.
Thanks
Site I use
Password must be changed every 90 days
My password expires at 90 days
And i have to create a new 15 number - character password that must not use at least eight of the number/characters used prior.
My advice is to create a word document with your passwords
I have been doing so for years and keep the document in a safe.
The site that I have to use requires a change every 90 days, and must not use eight characters, numbers, from previous passwords.
It’s a government webpage.
You can generate a list of up to 100 passwords, each with a maximum of 32 characters in length.
It doesn't include special characters, or the number one, or lower-case "L", so swap out some of the text and numbers you get as needed.
When it's time to update your passwords, just shift the characters and/or case of your current password over, so "Abc&123" becomes "3aBc&12".
I use Roboform
Your replied:
Geez.... How else do you handle simple every day tasks? Do you go to the internet and ask the first fool that comes along? Good lord, do you need someone to pick out what clothes to wear each day? Or, is this whole thread just a big joke?”
Well, there is always at least one individual replying to Freepers that are asking for suggestions or advice from other Freepers and making a personal comment about the poster.
60 or so other Freepers replied to my post, many with some suggestions, and some posting funny stuff, which I always like. And some very good suggestions made.
Since I have been posting on FR since year 2000, there have only been very few times when I have gotten replies from such people that believe that others on FR are not up to their high standards I guess....
Over the years on FR, Jim, (and God bless him), has periodically reminded all of us to keep our replies civil:
Reminder: No profanity, no racism, no personal attacks, no threats, no violence, etc.

Some of this is starting to creep into our forum again, hence the reminder.
Debate the issues all you want, but please don’t make it personal. Keep it clean, above board and above belt.
You are right. I apologize.
Come up with a strategy. It starts with a phrase like “Pwd” then a underscore _ then a word related to the website then a year. For FR it would be
Pwd_freedom_2016
I have dozens of passwords I have to enter constantly for work like Develop_1998_erp
