There’s an eye witness to this. The witness may or may not be able to identify the perp, but I hope that he or she has enough courage to come forward and try to work with the police.

Not a pro...
Completely failed to realize that some subsonic ammo will not reliably cycle a pistol. A pro would know EXACTLY what his tools would do and not have to awkwardly tap/rack on every other shot...

Unlikely a pro. The gun would have been stolen and just dropped after closing to contact range. He also left brass at the scene.
