Completely failed to realize that some subsonic ammo will not reliably cycle a pistol. A pro would know EXACTLY what his tools would do and not have to awkwardly tap/rack on every other shot...
May be—but I saw no signs of panic.
He walked away from the scene—before starting to run.
Yeah, easier to use a revolver with a silencer...... Yeah, I know. ๐
I agree. It's impossible to tell, but it also looks like the first shot hobbled him. I would think a pro, from that distance, wouldn't have any trouble with a center mass or head shot.
He knew the slide wouldnโt cycle from the beginning. He was prepared to manually recycle the slide after each shot. Knew his subsonic ammo and silencer would cause the gun to work this way. Pro job.

Agree. This was personal.
That’s the thing. Semi-auto would eject the brass. I would think a ‘pro’ might use a silenced revolver for a job like that. More reliable; no brass left behind.

No... it wasn’t that. That indicates a slide lock device. Most silencer equipped pistols don’t have it. But the ultimate in quiet is a silencer, with subsonic, and a SLD (slide locking device.
The SLD eliminates gas coming out of the ejection port and the mechanical cycling noise.

He wasn’t clearing jams. He was manually cycling and not using ANY gas to cycle the action.
It’s the quietest possible setup and is probably the 1% of pf people who use silencers. (not counting people who have essentially the same thing on a bolt action)
