They could potentially be guided by AI. If there’s good mapping and they have good instrumentation for altitude, direction, etc., they could be self-directed.
Still like to take a shot at one though.
I thought about that, but if they want the data they still have to transmit it back somehow. Otherwise it has to return to home before any data is available.
