Trump, Johnson and Elon didn’t just trap the House in this game of “CR exposure” and power back to the people.

Schumer fell for the same trap.
He fully expected the same playbook that has happened every time in the past.

-—some kind of law? Well, there actually is. These lazyaxx crooked judges who just can’t bring themselves to lock up these bungwads need to be informed how things are going for crooked health insurance suits. Just a matter of time until someone gets pixxed about it.
Misfires? First I’d insist on inspecting the duds. Good primer hit, proper powder load, head space? Did the same guns fire subsequent rounds? If the rounds check out OK then we’re gonna take the breeches apart and look for loseygoosey mechanisms and they had better be flawless for a 100 dryfire test. Then we’re gonna do chain of custody, manufacturer certifications, and even storage conditions.
Unless they are out in the country, on an actual firing range, these rounds will be blanks, no projectile. Care has to be taken with blanks to make sure the powder charge fully “wets” the primer.
It was fun to watch the cannoneers at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii do practice salutes because they could shoot live rounds at Mt. Kaala. Never heard of a misfire?
And, yeah, the rounds have to be marked with who made them. That’s another rule.

IIRC, the cannons used by the Presidential Salute Battery are WWII era M5 3-inch howitzers sleeved to take a 75mm blank.
To me, if the same tube had 3 misfires, it’s the cannon - not the ammo, especially if no other cannon had a misfire.

Safety guy didn't count the bags. 2 rounds, I think went long and drilled a car driven by a dependent wife coming back from the commissary. Course he got drilled as he should have been for killing someone. Never could understand that range setup.
HOUSE just passed bill - which one was this? It had 32 REPs NO and every RAT voted for it except one that voted “present”.

My MOS was arty - 105mm.
In arty school, unbeknownst, our backup breech was tricked up to not fire. Our gun got stuck with it.
(failed an inspection, and my gun crew had to carry the breech up and down a mountain.)
If used, it would simulate a hang-fire and gave us practice about learning how to clear it- we used live rounds.
I was stationed @ 29 palms afterwards.
For my time there, we constantly won the competition and were Gun#1.
If an extracted casing hit the cradle, the cost was a case of beer and having to do the paint job.
Interesting thing...we had no ear gear. It was recommended that we buy a bottle of aspirin, take the cotton out of the top of the bottle, put it in our ears and use the aspirin after the fire mission was over.
Overseas, I was not in my MOS so I had to give a class once a month to the rest of the grunts about the mechanics of my MOS. I used the 105mm as the base of my classes.
